BioWurld is a semi-automated directory of valuable resources in the fields of bioinformatics and molecular biology. Users can add resources and must assign them to categories.
Pro’s:
- broken links are phased out automatically
- titles/descriptions/keywords are updated when resource changes
- administrators get mail for new entry (quick verify, possible reassignment or deletion)
Con:
- Catch22 situation in beginning
