Welcome to my personal web site!
I realised with a shock that I hadn't done anything with my personal web pages in more than three years! Work and family took priority to tinkering with web pages in the early morning hours. I couldn't leave it in that dismal state, so I set to work on updating information on my work (bioinformatics), presentations, and a tidbit of personal info. The result you see before you.
The banner is 'artwork' I did for my first ever web page 13 years ago (call it nostalgia). 'Artwork' is properly quoted, because I am not and never will be a graphics designer.
Quick links
- Course: BIOS 428/828 Perl Programming for Biological Applications (under- and graduate three credit course)
- Bioinformatics / (Computational) biology projects: a number of the projects I have been involved in over the years. Alternative splicing (computational pipeline, databases, interfaces, and tools) and nucleotide sequence(s) distribution (in the form of a SOAP/WSDL Web Service) were my main projects recently. Biomathematics/statistics and system analysis/simulation I have done earlier in my career.
- Bioinformatics / Computational biology books
- Powerpoint presentations and posters (post overhead transparency era)
