W2H version 3.2

Introduction

The W2H is an abbreviation for a WWW interface to the GCG Sequence Analysis Software Package (Genetic Computer Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oxford Molecular Group, Inc) or to the derived services (such as HUSAR, Heidelberg Unix Sequence Analysis Resources).
It tries to cover as much functionality as possible, and to do it as user friendly as we could. It gives you the opportunity to access  more than hundred programs from any platform where Netscape runs.
The interface is freely available (supposing that you are licensed to run GCG programs) and is under constant maintenance. The   developers will be happy to help you with installation and to answer your questions.

New release

Since the 3.1 release, a number of new features and improvements have been added. For example: new  postprocessor for MSF-files, a slightly modified verison of JalView is included, support for JavaTelnet, Blast in GCG10 now supports multiple selection of databases,  various feature updates, and of course the obligatory bug fixes.
More details can be found in the
history file.

Availability

W2H is available from the EBI's FTP server. Further information about W2H as well as a demo is available from its homepage.
