Database Programmer

E-mail: tmo@ebi.ac.uk

I have just graduated in computer science from Cambridge, and am allegedly employed as a database programmer. Mostly though I'm developing web based tools to access or annotate our various data and automate as much as possible. If I have any speciality, it would be in graphics, both on and off computers, and three dimensional visualisation in particular. I've been working with swissprot submissions, interpro annotation and gene ontology visualisation recently, and will be attempting to make swissprot a little more usable from a programming point of view.

Outside all this I spend most of my spare time playing an assortment of instruments and trying to avoid being run over by Volvo drivers.
Apparently I'm able to turn into a cat at will - roll on summer...
