Some facts about the energy gene expression

We visualised the expression profiles of the genes from the functional subclasses of the energy class to try to spot possible correlations. Overall the genes of three of the largest energy subclasses respiration, tricarboxylic-acid pathway, and "reserves" show strong increase in the expression levels during one of the last time points, while the other two: glycolysis and fermentation show some decrease. The largest individual increase for an energy gene is almost 15 times and it occurs at time-point 7 for gene PCK1 (ORF: YKR097w), which is a know protein and belongs to gluconeogenesis energy subclass.
